If you haven’t heard, there’s a fight about to happen in Las Vegas this weekend. Two opponents are going head to head. Two enter, one leave. While the experts think it’ll be one-sided, the bets being placed on the underdog are unprecedented.
Also, the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight will be entertaining, at the very least.
So, what do you need to have done on your car in order to keep it from being your adversary when you want to go toe to toe with the highway on a roadtrip to Las Vegas?
First off, get your ride inspected before you hit the open road.
Whether it’s a classic or something that you just bought used, our ASE-certified mechanics will be happy to give your vehicle the green light after going over it during one of our comprehensive inspections. And at The Auto Shop, we can generally knock this out while we take care of any oil or fluid changes, brake or suspension services, and even major engine or drivetrain repair. Wheel your whip on by and if it’s looking questionable whether it’s ready to roll, we can absolutely get it there!
From there, not only can we take care of any recommendations our mechanics may find, we can knock out any discretionary items as well.
Is your car’s A/C not blowing as cold as you’d like? Remember that Las Vegas isn’t all that much cooler than Phoenix, and a cool interior of your car is something you’ll definitely want while you make the 5-hour drive. Having been located in Phoenix since 1979, vehicle air conditioning repair and service is something of The Auto Shop’s specialty!
After all this, get whoever in your group is going with you to pitch in! If you’re doing the driving, your friends can fill the cooler, get a playlist together, top off your gas tank and handle the drive-thru fare on the way.
A big part of a Vegas trip is trying to be thrifty in order to hold out for the fun stuff, and not only can The Auto Shop help you with that when it comes to auto care and maintenance in Phoenix, but your friends should be willing to help out the driver as much as possible!
And for a finishing touch, we’d recommend getting it detailed from the ground up. Shining the tires, hitting the accents with some blackener, washing, polishing, waxing and vacuuming it out is a good place to start. After all, at The Auto Shop we want you to feel as good about your car or truck as we do about keeping it taken care of!
